AutoXpress Limited has partnered with Total Kenya to open a fitment centre at the Total Gigiri Service Station on Limuru Road.
This is the 48th AutoXpress branch in East Africa, a growth that has been made possible by the London-based private equity, Actis, who invested in AutoXpress in 2014, resulting in the opening of 29 more branches, a 152 per cent growth in the last five years. The firm operates in Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Uganda.
Mr. Sandeep Shah, the Group Managing Director at AutoXpress Limited said, “Gigiri is among the leading vibrant residential and business markets in Nairobi and we are excited to be expanding our footprint to cater for the growing customer demands by having a one-stop-shop in this area.”

The new Gigiri branch marks the third AutoXpress branch at a Total service station, after Naivasha and Nanyuki branches.
Mr. Shah further explained that apart from providing the vehicle solutions for motorists, AutoXpress’ expansion to Gigiri will also contribute to the national economic goals especially through job creations. “Currently, we employ over 700 members of staff across the East African region. Gigiri branch now adds to this number of the AutoXpress family,” said Mr. Shah.
